Abels Dental was founded in Parow in 2017 by experienced dental surgeon Dr Hilary Abels.
Based in the heart of the community in the northern suburb town, the surgery is focused on providing quality dental care that will make a difference in the lives of many.
By ensuring effective, comfortable and caring service, the surgery has successfully grown over the past two years, building an established database of patients who have made Abels Dental their preferred choice.
Abels Dental provides all basic and specialised dental treatments to its patients.
Abels Dental accepts all medical aids, debit cards, credit cards, and retail shopping cards (RCS), as well as cash patients on industry standard rates.

ABOUT DR HILARY ABELS
Dr Hilary Abels boasts more than 12 years of extensive experience as a qualified dental surgeon.
After graduating at the University of the Western Cape with a B.Ch.D in 2006, she has worked, managed and supervised in various posts in the Northern Cape, Eastern Cape and Western Cape.
During this time, Dr Abels worked alongside some of South Africa’s top maxillo-facial oral surgeons and went on to complete a post-graduate diploma in dentistry (PDD) focused on Minor Oral Surgery in 2010, making her a specialist in this field.
Dr Abels continues her self-development as a professional by keeping abreast and knowledgeable of advances in dentistry via courses and journals, and implementing these advances in her treatment modalities.
Dr Abels is not only influential in the chair, but also in other parts of the dental industry.
Between 2013-2018, she served on the committees of the South African Dental Association’s Western Cape branch, Young Dental Council and the National Council. During this time, she was involved in Oral Health awareness campaigns under the banner of the South African Dental Association.
Dr Hilary Abels is assisted by Shalane February, who is a registered dental assistant. Shalane provides chairside assistance and carries out reception duties.
